Ignition is a conference for Middle School students (grades 6th - 8th). It is an exciting weekend of worship, praise, and teaching. This dynamic weekend is designed to draw students closer to Christ.

Ignition 2010 is being offered in two locations:
- On October 8-9, 2010 an Ignition Conference will be offered in Champaign, IL, hosted at the New Horizon United Methodist Church.
The church is located at 3002 W. Bloomington Road, Champaign, IL 61822.

- On October 22-23, 2010 an Ignition Conference will be offered in Troy, IL at the Troy United Methodist Church.
The church is located at 407 Edwardsville Rd. Troy, IL. (One mile east of I 55/70 on IL Rt 162)

Additionally, in January 2011, an Ignition Conference will be offered in Moline, IL (Registration for this additional Ignition will be available at a later date.)

Speaker - October 8-9 ~ Ricky Spindler
Ricky grew up on a farm in southern Indiana. Forced to overcome a lot at a young age, Ricky beat the odds and gave his life to Christ at fourteen. At fifteen he was called into full-time ministry.
He attended North Central University, where he received a B.A. in Pastoral Studies. It was during college that he really began traveling and speaking. In fact, his favorite college experience was traveling as an evangelist for a summer. Since that time, he has traveled around the country speaking to youth about the importance of developing a relationship with Christ and the difference it has made in his own life.
Ricky lives in Urbana, IL and is currently the student ministries pastor at Stone Creek Church. His passion is to see the lives of young people truly changed and to raise up leaders that will set the tone for the next generation.

Praise & Worship ~ Harvest Worship Band Harvest Worship Band has been leading worship for conferences, camps, youth events and churches for more than a decade. Comprised of young adults from around the Midwest, Harvest Worship Band brings with them a fresh style of leading and connecting with the congregation. Tim Price, Worship Leader, has been leading music since 1990 and has been involved in hundreds of youth events around the Illinois area.

Special Guest ~ The 413 Strength Team - from Grand Rapids, Michigan The 413 Strength Team is a group of athletes who use feats of strength to captivate audiences and then deliver the gospel message of Jesus Christ!

**Please note that beginning in the fall of 2010, our registraion procedure has changed. Please register your group (using our online form or the mail-in registration form), and then bring the completed individual forms (Liability and Medical Release forms) with you to the conference. Please submit payment for your group with one check (or credit card).
**We are also requesting that each church group complete Background Check Verification Forms or Adult Disclaimer Forms for each adult attending the conference. Please review the Adult Background Check FAQ sheet.
Sponsor Information
Registration: Each group needs to send in a Group Registration form along with payment (ONE check, please). In addition, each adult, sponsor, and youth must complete a Liability & Release form. Please bring the Liability & Release forms with you to the conference.
Check-In: Begins at 6:00 pm on Friday.
Seminars: Students will be able to choose two seminars to attend on Saturday. There will also be a youth workers session that will be hosted during one of the seminar times.
Transportation: Each church is responsible for providing their own transportation for the duration of the conference. One sponsor for every eight students registered must be provided, with at least one sponsor over 21 years of age.
Meals: Snacks throughout the weekend and lunch on Saturday are provided by the conference. There are several restaurants located not far from the church.
Housing: No housing arrangements are provided by the conference. Some groups choose to stay in their home towns, in local churches or in hotels. There are several motels to choose from close to the church. Each group is responsible for their own motel expenses.

Cancellation Policy: All requests for cancellations must state the reason for requested funds and be submitted on church letterhead to Harvest Conferences. If cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the conference, registrations will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made 15-30 days before the conference will be refunded for half the registered fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made within 15 days of conference.
Special Needs: All requests for special needs including special seating needs, hearing impaired assistance, and food allergies, should be submitted with your registration.
